Yesterday, Jim (JRCivic) tuned my CRVTEC setup @ 10.5psi /w water injection. Although the HP numbers weren't what I was expecting, the TQ numbers were right on THANKS Jim

Here's the pic. Enjoy!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Congrats, Tim! Very impressive curves.
Do I understand correctly that the only difference is iceing the blower?? (water injection on in both curves?) I cannot believe the difference between the two!
Did you cool the blower alone, or also the intake manifold?

Later,

Mark.

Let me break the runs down for you.

The third run on the Dyno sheet was at 10.5 psi with the water injection kit (after fixing a faulty injection nozzle) with a little fuel enrichment. That 3rd pull was real close to what power I had before at 7.5 psi. We made a ton of passes and on the 11th pass, we realized we didn't set up a fan in front of the car! So we set a fan up and felt the blower and manifold, which was hot as shit....

So, we put a bag of ice on top of the manifold and let the fan cool everything down for about 15-20 minutes before making another pass. The 11th Dyno run made 254whp at peak, so letting her cool down made another 8 peak whp making it 262whp. There isn't enough room to slide a bag of ice down behind/under the blower, so if we could have cooled the blower as well, maybe another 8-10 peak whp could have been found as well. Also the weather was a little warmer than my previous tune, so all said and done.... Cooler night, cooled blower, and iced down water injection would have probably made close to 280whp, which was my goal to begin with.

I dunno how much slicks help FWD cars, but if you could AT LEAST run 1.9 60ft, that E.T. would be niiiiiiiiiiiice!

Hey, big to you for running/dyno'ing your car. For some that seems to be a sin, theyd rather just spend acre's of money to just do the same thing a YUGO could do....

Way to go man!

Went to the track tonight with the new tune. This was my first and only pass on the night with the new tune. Full interior, full tank of gas on 15" street tires..... Oh yeah, spun thru first mostly, 2nd had some spinning in it too.

So far my best 60ft on 22x8x15" slicks mounted on stock steelies is a 1.81

I'm in fear on completely destroying my stock axles now... haha

Just make sure Jim is there with ya. He can swap axles at the track in like 30 minutes flat BTW, very nice dyno chart. Jim showed me that when I got into Birmingham last Friday. I couldn't believe how clean your torque curve was. Very nice setup man.

Nice numbers. From looking at your plot I would suggest leaning the fuel out some. Running 12.0 across the band is running very very safely. I run 13.0 on 91 pump gas in CA. I would either run more timing to eat up some fuel and lean the fuel out some, or I would suggest raising the boost some more to eat up some fuel and give more power. From looking at your setup I think you should be able to hit 290whp and 210trq. Also tuning the cams may make the power keep climbing to redline and the trq hold longer.
